Question
hellooo..

i have a problem with my illustrator CS3, while i working using illustrator i make the vector object etc normal like usually then suddenly when i start to use the 'text tool' the language is turn to thailand or hindu, i cant change the font/character it keep on 'myriad pro*' I try to write the text in new doc and it still the same... can u help me how can i change my text in to roman text? tq

Answer
Hi Risma,

The reason Myriad Pro is not showing up is indicated by the way you wrote it in your question. Do you see an asterisk next to the font name ie "Myriad Pro*"? If so, that means the font is missing and it is replacing it with another font automatically. You need to have the font installed to type with it.

If you change to a font that does not have an asterisk next to it, it should type just fine.

Thanks
