QUESTION: Hello, the swatches pallette, brushes and every kind of tool and pallette has disappeared leaving just a small selection (ie character). Any ideas (error message showing missing plug ins attached - not sure if it's related). Thanks

ANSWER: Hi Helen

It appears you are opening a CS5 document in CS4.

If you are using CS5, then you may be missing part of tour default items and will need to uninstall and reinstall.

Reinstalling CS3 won't fix this!!! Don't do that. The issue is you are trying to open a file that was created in a newer version. You cannot do this without errors. Someone with CS5 will have to back save to CS3 for you to open it properly.
