Hi Expert,

When i copy an third party working file (ai) to my working file, it prompt up "color swatch 'Global Black' has a conflict with the current document", then i only have option to merge it, after that my adobe illustrator will run extremely slow for any process... can help? thank you very much.

Hi KC,

Without knowing what you are copying into your document, the only advice I can give is that the color has nothing to do with the app running slow. It probably has more to do with the size or complexity of what you are copying into your document and also leaving it on the clipboard. After you paste this image in, select something small and copy that small item to wipe your clipboard clean. That should help speed it up instead of leaving that large image.
