Adobe Illustrator/all brush libraries ever tried stay open

Question
Is there a way to close brush libraries I am not using anymore? They stay open even if I start a new document. Having tried different libraries I want to be able to close all but the one I am going to use. Now all the libraries I have ever tried are all open and cluttering up my panel!
Hope you understand the question...am rather new to AI (using CS5)

Answer
Hi Sofia,

If you close the library after you are done using it, it will stay closed. Click the close (X) button on the tab for the library you wish to close and you should be ok. If you are talking about brushes added to your brushes panel, you can drag unwanted brushes to the trash icon at the bottom of the panel to remove.

Thanks
