I want to compress 4 eps/ai files into 1 pdf file like the normal pdf files you see which has so many pages (without using adobe acrobat w/distiller)
I've read from your past asked questions and you sorta mentioned that one is able to do so in illustrator cs2? Please help.

Hi Joy,

Well unfortunately the best tool is a driver that's part of the full version of Acrobat, so you won't be able to get a hold of that.

BUT there are utilites that work pretty well and last I checked, some were still FREE.  Let's see what I can find...

These appear to be fully functional freeware...

Save your AI files as PDF files, then combine with one of those utils.

Try those for starters!
