Question
Hello,

to make interactive PDF presentation(bookmarks, hyperlinks, full-screen mode): is the Adobe Acrobat Professional enough?
Can I use only Adobe Acrobat Pro create full presentation? Or I need InDesign? What functions is not available in Adobe Acrobat, compare with InDesign?

Best Regards

Answer
Hi Alexander.

Yes, you need an application to actually create the layout and content of the PDF document. Illustrator, InDesign, Quark, etc., are examples of programs that can be used.

inDesign is a layout program. You will use it to combine text and graphics. You can also add effects, etc., and some interactive PDF elements. You will then Save as a PDF document.

Then, in Acrobat, you will add function to your PDF.

So you need them both.  I don't know if you need inDesign or another program. But you will need something to layout and generate that PDF file.

Hope this helps

Expertise

I can help troubleshoot your Illustrator 9 through CS3 (and most CS4) problems and suggest the best way to get the results you need. Although I can help with some installation issues, my forte is prepress and how to use the tools and functions in the application itself.

I've been a graphic artist for over 20 years. Oh my God, 20 years.
