Expert: Tom Rouze - 7/21/2005

Hello Tom,
I'm using Adobe Illustrator 10.0 on a iMac flat panel G4 in
OSX 10.2.8 and have a sudden problem. I was setting a line
of text, when I stumbled on the keyboard, you know,
hitting 2 keys at once, and after that, the spacebar doesn't
work (in Illustrator). I looked up to find all the words run
together without spacing. Hmmm. It's OK in other
programs, including this letter. I've rebooted the program a
number of times, and well as restarting the computer a
number of times as well, to no avail. I had this happen one
other time a couple of years ago in Illustrator 8, but can't
remember what the fix was. Any ideas? I look forward to

Hi Steve,
I'll try to find out something for you.  My cat did that to me once.  (God rest her soul!) Just kidding. lol..   It wasn't the same problem but the same idea.  I had no idea which two keys she stepped on.  I'll try to get back to you within a couple days.  I'm involved with a project for the next few days but I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can.  If you find out before I get the chance, would you let me know?
