Question
I am using Adobe Illustrator 10 on a PC.

I have a 2 color image in Photoshop (black & Pantone 293), but when I use Place in Illustrator to put the graphic on my page it is not seperating correctly. It is showing up with CYMK layers, not sure why and I can't seem to figure it out.

Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated, it is driving me nuts.

Thanks,
Rob

Answer
Hi Rob,

There are lots of variables here.

Could you please send me the 2 files:

AmyLynPace@yahoo.com

And I'll take a look at them.  I wish they had a way for us to share files on allexperts but they still haven't taken us up on that suggestion.

Expertise

I can help troubleshoot your Illustrator 9 through CS3 (and most CS4) problems and suggest the best way to get the results you need. Although I can help with some installation issues, my forte is prepress and how to use the tools and functions in the application itself.

Experience

I've been a graphic artist for over 20 years. Oh my God, 20 years.
