Adobe Illustrator/Backsaving an Illustrator CS2 file to CS

Question
Hi,
I'm trying desperately to backsave an Illustrator CS2 file to CS,
so that I can output the file at work (a printer). My computer at
the printer won't read the art, because it's created in CS2. I can't
figure it out. Please help.

Tara

Answer
Hi Tara,

Try this.  In CS2 do a save as (rename the file)then when you click save, another window will pop up called Illustrator options. On the top of that window there is a pull down that will allow you to select CS, 10, 9, 8, etc...

This works on both PC and Mac.

If this doesn't work let me know and we'll try something else.

Thank you,

Tom
