Adobe Illustrator/Converting Illustrator to HTML for PC

Question
I'm on a G5 and in CS versions.

I need to design Web pages for Email blast for the 4 different
companies I work with and I'd like to do that out of Illustrator or
InDesign.

If my original design is in Illustrator, how do I convert that page
to HTML. I've tried the "Save to Web" option, but I'm not familiar
enough with the settings. The HTML pages I've tried, aren't
viewable on a PC.

I've also tried to save a PDF as an HTML page, but it isn't
viewable on a PC either.

Shouldn't this be a simple process?

Answer
Hi Cindy,

Sorry for the delay I was away for a few days and the vacation setting  wasn't working.  This is slightly out of my area of expertise of Printing... but Amy, another expert on this site, posted an answer that may help.  In Google type "save Illustrator file for web"

Thank you,

Tom

I can answer Graphics questions related to Adobe Illustrator 9, 10, and CS. I also have Photoshop experience. Setting up files for printing is my main area of expertise. I am familiar with both PC and Mac platforms. No question is too silly. The only thing silly is a question not asked!
