Adobe Illustrator/Converting paths.

Question
I have made a huge path that was made in photoshop. I have pasted it into illustrator but it is transparent unless i select it or view outline. I want my path to be an actual object that is black. I want to export it as a wmf file that is why i need it to remain a vector file.

At the moment if export the file i just get a file that is the right size but is blank. :(

An answer to my problem would save my life and i would be very greatful.

Answer
Hi Jamie,
Sorry about that!  I hit the wrong button... I meant to hit reply.
Just a quick question.  If you can select in Illustrator and get the outline did you try filling the area?
I assume that you're looking to be able to edit the image later or in a different program?  I'm not too familiar with wmf files so I wasn't too sure what you needed or the level of editability you were looking for.  I was going to suggest to convert the file to a jpeg or bitmap but I wasn't sure of the resolution you wanted either.
Start with trying to fill the image and if you still need help let me know and we'll try to figure this out.

Thank you,

Tom
