Hi Andrew,

You might be talking about using Batch Processing in PhotoShop? PhotoShop can be used to apply resizing, compression and cropping to a folder full of images automatically.

As far and transitions, you need a slide show program such as PhotoShop Elements or PhotoShop Album.

There are tons of slide show programs out there, so if you don't have those, just look around for some freeware that will create one for you.

Good luck!

I forgot to mention that PhotoShop can also create slide shows for the internet.

And after looking around at FreshView, I see that it also creates slide show for the internet.

Pretty cool little application.

Hi again,

Well, slide presentations are easily created by an application that takes a folder full of pictures (that you have cropped) and displays them in sequence with some transitions that you pick, so why don't you download a slide show program such as FreshView.

Here's a link.
http://www.download.com/Fresh-View/3000-2193_4-10460079.html?tag=lst-0-8

It's FREE and very easy to use. I downloaded it, installed, ran it, chose a transition in Settings, and had a slide show of the "My Pictures" folder in about 3 minutes.

This is for creating slide presentations to be run on your own computer...  for creating a slide presentation for the internet or to be sent to someone, you'd need other software.

PowerPoint is an application that might be on your computer that you can use to create presentations to send to people.

It's got a steeper learning curve but very simple, too.

Have fun
