Question
I am using Illustrator 10 on a mac g5. My question is when I
create a document larger than an 8.5 x 11 how do I get the
margin guides to go to the size I've created instead of
remaining at 8.5 x 11

Answer
Hi Tammy,
By Margin guides do you mean the dotted lines (printable area)?  This is determined by your printer and the size paper it can handle.  If you have a printer that can handle the size you set up then at the upper left of the screen select file then page set-up and select the size you want to print.  If you're printer does not have that size capability then you can either tile it or hide the lines under view hide page tiling.

I hope this is what you meant if not let me know and I'll be glad to help.

Thank you,

Tom
