Question
To convert a TIF to editable vector graphic, I would use Live Trace in Illustrator CS. But i want to know if it's also an option in version 9 and are the steps the same as CS?

Hi Laurie,

No, Live Trace was not available in version 9. If you want to trace something in 9, you need to do it by hand. There's a trace "tool" in 9 but it has very, very limited function and I can't recommend it for anything but the most simple shapes.
