Adobe Illustrator/Illustrator CS files on network

Question
Hi. When I try to delete a certain Illustrator CS file on my work's network drive, it says "Cannot delete {filename}: It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again."

I and a coworker modify the file and keep it on a network drive. She completely reboots her PC, and so do I, but I still get the error message when trying to delete the file. Any ideas? Thanks.

Answer
Hi Craig,
We're multi platform here but I'm more comfortable in the Mac environment but I did have a similar problem on my PC when I tried to delete something.  I don't think it's a CS issue.
Do you know if anyone else opened or used this file from the network sever?  If it's just you two then have her turn off her computer then try to delete it. If that doesn't work try turning your computer off and have her delete it.  Like you error message says; your network server thinks that the file is still in use for some reason.  You could try renaming the file then deleting it.  Make sure when you're trying to delete the file that you don't have CS open on either computer.
I'm not if you tried either of those things already but that would be my first thought.
Hope this helps.
Thank you,
Tom
