Adobe Illustrator/Illustrator installation

Question
Hi Amy,
I know this is dumb but when I insert the installation disk for
Illustrator, the installation does not automatically start up. WHen I
click on the disk there is an illustrator file, but it contains nothing I
can open to actually get the installation process started. What do I
do?

Hi Jackie,

Not dumb. It happens. But I need to know if you're on a Mac or PC and what version you're installing.

Generally, on a PC, you go to My Computer and then Double Click on the CD. It should "play."

Please let me know those two things and I can help a little more!
