Question
Hi
I have Illustrator CS2 V12.0.0 and have created a logo. I need to save this logo in eps Illustrator 8 format but 2 of the fonts in the logo will not embed. I have selected the embed option but receive a warning that only fonts with appropriate permissions will be embedded. The fonts that do not embed are Alba Super and Palace Script MT
Hi Nathan,
I think your best option is to choose the fonts in question and Create Outlines from them. The person using version 8 won't be able to edit the text anymore - and neither will you - so save two versions.
To create outlines, select All, hit Shift+Ctrl+o (Type>Create Outlines). Then save as you normally would.
