Adobe Illustrator - Logo

Expert: Michael Dymund - 4/22/2004

Question
Hi!

I am a complete beginer to Illustrator (I have v.10). The only
guide I have so far is the "Teach Yourself Visually" book. I need
to design a logo for my website from some vector clipart.

I have the idea for the logo, but don't know how to make it.
Basically, the logo is a guy (clipart) bursting through the page.
He looks like he's bursting through paper.

What books/cds would you suggest to help?

Craig

Answer
This is a hard one for me; I've not looked at any of the books. I do know that Adobe Press has a series called 'Classroom in Book,' though, that has proven helpful for a good many people. But they're not cheap.

You could always try a Google search for 'Illustrator tutorial' and see what you come up with. There are a lot of things that you can find online for free.
