Hi Tom,

I have multiple files in Adobe Illustraitor 10 saved as .ai's . I tried converting to eps and still teh same problem.

Nothing will open up in Cs2! It's like Cs2 doesnt even know you are trying to open a file - nothing happens.

What's going on?

Hi Jake,

I've heard of this problem with Mac to PC files when there is no extension on the Mac file.  The PC couldn't identify the file.  It sounds like you've tried a few options already, I would try reinstalling the software.  Sometimes that's all it takes to do the trick.
I guess you tried opening the file from the file menu too?  I've seen files "disappear" when you try to drag to the icon and open.  Of course the file didn't open but it was no longer where you left it either.  It ended up inside the Illustrator folder package contents.  This took a little while to figure out because just looking in the folder didn't show anything.

Hope this helped.  I haven't had this exact problem before but I would try the reinstall maybe that will reset itself.
