Question
I have this book with pantone color codes but I can't seem to find the right pantone pallet on Illustrator. The colors have a "PC" in the code (i.e.: Pantone 377 PC) Could you please help me figure out how to find these colors?

Thanks!

Answer
That is the Pantone Process color library. If you don't have them, you can download that at Pantone.com, I believe. If you can't find them there, let me know.

Don't use those "PC" colors as spot colors. Only use them when you are printing CMYK documents. Pantone solids are the ones you want for spot colors.

Hope this helps!

Expertise

I can help troubleshoot your Illustrator 9 through CS3 (and most CS4) problems and suggest the best way to get the results you need. Although I can help with some installation issues, my forte is prepress and how to use the tools and functions in the application itself.

I've been a graphic artist for over 20 years. Oh my God, 20 years.
