Question
I'm running Illustrator 10 on a Mac G5 osx. My problem is that if I put any text on the page the file takes a long time to access the printer and when it does it prints a mixture of symbols numbers and text but no diagrams. This covers the first one or two lines of about 20 printed pages. If I delete the text then any diagrams on the page print fine. I have tried changing the font but this doesn't seem to help.

Sounds like it's trying to download fonts to a non-postscript printer.
It prints fine if there are no fonts, right?
Can you tell me if it's a postscript printer or not? Then I can narrow down my advice a little.

| Comment | Thanks I went ahead and adjusted the color levels and that seemed to work. I will try exporting it out as a tiff in photoshop and saving it again through there. Thanks again | ||
