Adobe Illustrator/Unknown Error when saving

Question
In response to a previous question about getting "Unknown error" when trying to save files in Illustrator CS3, you suggested deleting Illustrator's prefs as well as any numbered Adobe font lists.
Do you have any suggestions if this does not correct the problem?

Since CS3 is relatively new, there are a lot of people contributing bugs and bug fixes on the Adobe user forums. You should definitely check it out at adobe.com.

| Comment | I finally found the issue in the Adobe knowledgebase as a CS2 problem. Here is the link. http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=332690 In my particular case, the first option (Transparency Flattener Presets) was the culprit and removing / renaming it corrected the problem. | ||
