hello Tom ,

when i installed the AIcs , i cant see the AI itialize the fonts , and when i start the AI , also cant see the font on the font list . but i can choose it by choose bar --> type ---> font .

what should i do ?thx

Hello Hong,

It may just be a lot of fonts loaded on your machine.  I use a font management program Extensis Suitcase which allows me to turn off and on fonts at will.  It also lets you to view the fonts and have hundreds or thousands of fonts loaded onto your computer but only activating the fonts you want.
There are some other font management programs, Macs has one in OS X but I'm most familiar with Suitcase it's around $90.  
I know this doesn't solve your immediate problem but it's all I can think of right now.  I just got back from vacation!
