HI There,
I am working on illustrator 10 on a pc.  everything was fine until yesterday my free trasnform tool went  'missing'. I have restarted my computer several times and it hasn't some back yet.  I have tried scrolling through the adobe help and cannot find anything related to getting back the free transform tool.  SO at the moment I ma having to guess what sizing is correct, and inputting the %scale in the normal transform menu, as the box around it which usually you can rotate/size when you hover over the corner of it has dissapeared.  All that happens now when I click on an object is that it just picks up the path points not allowing me to scale it. This is very frustrating!
It is happening on ALL files, no layers are locked.
Please help!

Hello Amanda.

This is an easy one.  Just hit SHIFT + CTRL + B or choose VIEW>SHOW BOUNDING BOX from the menu. I have v.9 so your menus might be a little different but it is up there somewhere.

The first time that happened to me, I spent weeks trying to bring it back.
