Question
Hi Amy,
I am learning Illustrator and cannot find the measuring tool anywhere!  Please let me know if it is hidden somewhere because it is not in the same place as Photoshop keeps it. Help! I am doing freelance work so I really need to understand this program.

Hi Jeff,

Yes, it is hidden under another tool. Most likely you will find it under the page tool or hand tool in the bottom row of the tool palette.

You will also find the Transform Window (Windows > Show Transform) handy when measuring things!
