Question
When I "Place" an image into my layout, I always select the "Link" box before
pressing the "Place" command.  After saving the document and reopening it,
the image is there but the link is Automatically Embedding.  What am I doing
wrong?

Hi Anil,
You have the "Include Linked Files" selected when you saved the file. when you click on "Save as", then type the name of the file and hit "save" you'll get a set of options and one of them is "Include Linked files". Please uncheck it and your image will be linked instead of being embedded.
