Question
Hi,
I am trying to put together a press release and need our logo at the top. i made the logo on adobe illustrator and saved it as a jpeg i then cut and paste it onto word. it looked great but everytime i printed it out it the logo was reversed! i tried resaving the image as PIC/tiff/gif etc.. and putting the press release together on publisher but the same thing happened when i printed. Can you help..please ; )

Answer
Okay Lianne,

That's bizarre and I blame Word (hope Bill Gates isn't reading this). Wait, you tried Publisher. Now I blame your printer?

If you have another printer, try printing to it.

Meanwhile, please send me the AI file, the Word file and the jpeg you created, too. Please Export the AI file to Legacy version 9 for me.

Looking forward to helping,

Expertise

I can help troubleshoot your Illustrator 9 through CS3 (and most CS4) problems and suggest the best way to get the results you need. Although I can help with some installation issues, my forte is prepress and how to use the tools and functions in the application itself.

Experience

I've been a graphic artist for over 20 years. Oh my God, 20 years.
