Question
I simply want to be able to cut and paste pictures and add text on top of pictures or to be able to save a group of pictures as ONE picture (jpeg).  What is most econonical and easy program to use Adobe Illustrator of Photoshop.  Thank you

Hello Jewel.

If your choices are Illustrator or PhotoShop, choose PhotoShop.

You can paste your photos into separate layers and add text (also layers) and then move everything around for the best layout.

You can then use the "Save for Web" feature to get a nicely sized, compressed image for sharing/web use.
