Adobe Illustrator/tree transform

Question
Hi, I have recently stumbled upon a weird problem.  When I select a placed object, or any object, I do not have the option of transforming it.  I have to click then transform tool, however, I did not have to do that in the past.  I may have altered some preference setting, but nothing I have tried seems to fix it.  If you know what's wrong that would be great.  Thanks

Answer
Hi Sipan,
I assume that the issue you're having is that when you click on an object in Illustrator, you do not see the bounding box that has the 8 transform dots.
All you need to do is to go to the top menu/View/Show Bounding Box. Now when you click on an object, the bounding box will be there and you can change the size without having to use the "Free Transform Tool" from the tools menu.
Please let me know if this solution fixed the issue you're having with Illustrator or if you have any other questions.

Best regards,
