Question

Low res jpg of Indesig
I'm creating a large grid using line in Indesign.  When converting to PDF and sending for print, about every 5th line prints darker than the others, despite being the same pt size.  Why is this happening?

Answer
Hi Ben,

This is caused by the resolution of your printer and the fact that they are screened lines in your grid.
Try a printer with a greater resolution.
If the dark lines are in your pdf then go to the pdf settings and under the general tab make sure resolution is at least 2400 and under the images tab turn off monochrome compression or raise it to 2400 as well.

Hope this helps,
