Adobe InDesign/Printing my InDesign document

Question
Hi James,

i have IDCS3 and am creating a four-page, 8.5x11" brochure. The last time I
made one, exported it to PDF and took it to the printers, it wasn't printing
properly - Kinkos couldn't really explain to me why that was. I do know that
when i did a test print at the office, I had to "shrink to fit" to get all of the
contents of the page to print out. Can you please tell me what/how I can
make it so that the margins are perfect and will print without me having to
"shrink to fit?"
Thanks in advance!

Answer
Meagan,

I can't really tell you what the perfect margins are, since I don't know what kind of printer your Kinkos is using. What you need to do, is talk to them and ask them what margins you should set your file up as. This way you can insure you have it set up to the correct size.
