Adobe InDesign/Converting from CS2 to CS3

Question
Hello,
We have an office where CS2 is installed on one computer and CS3 on another.  The CS3 user can't open documents stored on our network server that were created in CS2 (her computer doesn't recognize them as Indesign documents-they try to open in Word. Can you tell me what we need to do?  Thank you!

Answer
Make sure that the file has an extension on it. You may need to add the extension .indd to the file.

For example, if the file is called "layout" you may need to rename it "layout.indd" Also instead of double clicking on the file, try opening it directly inside InDesign by using the file > open command.

good luck!
