Hi there. I'm wondering if you have any advice on an issue I have.
My coworker's version of indesign has been playing up lately, with the page
palette not viewing correctly. It opens up as if there is something there, but
it's all greyed out, and there are no options to hide it, or close it. I've tried
viewing with and without the page's, but it does not appear to do anything.
I've also tried quitting and restarting numerous times but to no avail.
Apparently it's been doing this for about 2 weeks now. I'm going to try and
reinstall indesign but was looking for any alternatives first.

Hey there,

1. is this a pirated version or a version that an administrator/tech guy put on her computer?

this happened to me when I used to get pirated versions (I eventually bought it ;) ). Something in the coding has gone array and you will need to either get a pirated version, or have an IT guy reinstall. The IT guy has one copy, my guess,  so he'll have to use his magic to make it work again.

If it's a program she installed herself...updating should do the trick.
