Adobe InDesign/Is there a way to "flow" photos?

Question
Hello,

I'm currently working on a yearbook type book, where I have multiple photos on a page, in many pages, that are arranged in alphabetical order. During the process of designing the book, the client often adds another photo into the lot, and it's usually in the middle of the page of photos in the alphabetized list. Which means I have to manually insert the photo in the correct order, and move every single photo one space over. Is there a way to automate this process?

I am working on a mac, using CS2.

Thanks for your help!
Rebekah

Answer
Rebekah,

This is a complex situation. Unfortunately the solution would involve a variable database solution. If your layout was tied to a database and it updated, then your layout could update too. If you already have a layout finished your only course of action will be manually move the photos. For more information on variable data please reference the help system and adobe's webpage.
