Subject: Gray out when placed twice

Question
Hello, I work on a Mac G5, InDesign CS3 and have a problem with PSD files
that contain 2 extra spot channels plus transparancy. When I place an image
with those specifications, everything looks fine. When I place it a second
time, it grays out. I checked my display preferences, even threw out my
InDesign prefs, made new images in Photoshop, even threw out those prefs,
but the problem constists.
Tried in on another Mac, still the same.
Only time it didn't occur, is when using InDesign CS2. I realise it's a very rare
problem, but it keeps on bugging me. Prints are fine, by the way.

Answer
Anja
i have been checking this out it seems like this is a bug. indesign replacing pagemaker fixed many bugs like this. but it is still a new software so there is kinks. try placing the image as tiff or eps see if you get any different result.
best of luck.
thank you
Mehdi
