Subject: Couple of question from beginner.

Question
Ok. InDesign looks for me as just another planet in comparison to Photoshop. the same with Illustrator so I have a couple of questions to you.

1) I have made a logo in Photoshop. When I import it in Illustrator it seems okay. But when I look it in Indesign its margins are not that smooth if I magnify it to say 200 percent. Why is that ? Is it just the view or is it because I made it not in illustrator.

the logo is 300 dpi and CMYK.

2) Will PSD flatten image be enough to place in InDesign directly or I need to import it to illustrator first and then to InDesign ?

I'm not speaking about text. I mean graphics. I will add text in Indesign afterwards.

Answer
Nikolay,

I think I might I clicked on the wrong link, when I first responded to your question, so I apologize if you got a strange response.

In regards to your question. Your logo should be fine at the 100% level, but if you are magnifying it beyond the 100% level it will begin to look worse. If your logo is fine at 100% in Photoshop, then it will be fine in InDesign, there is no need to go through Illustrator.
