Question
I need to send an Indesign file - Mac, to a Indesign user who is PC. How do I
send the file? Thanks!

Answer
Daisey,

InDesign files are cross platform, and you will not have any problems with just the ID file.

First of all, you need to package your ID file (file menu > package). This will grab all of the fonts, images, and a copy of the ID file and put it in a folder for you. This is the folder that you will send to the other user.

The problem you may run into is that not all fonts are cross platform. Only opentype fonts are, and I don't know if you are using those. If you are not, the pc user may have to replace your fonts with his own or purchase new ones.

good luck!
