Question
Hi, I need to set up an 8.5"x17" brochure due to the amount of material. I know the inner pages need to be slightly smaller so it folds to fit inside a business envelope. What would the panel sizes be? Thanks, John

Answer
Hi John,

It depends on the number of folds in the document and the type of folding you do.

I'm assuming you're folding this three times (roll fold) along the 8.5" side so that the ride panel folds inward first and the left panel folds inward on top of the right panel. If so, just make the panel that folds to the inside 1/16th-inch (0.0625") smaller than the other two panels.

Here's your breakdown:
Cover 5.6825"
Back cover: 5.6825"
Third panel: 5.625"

Hope it helps!
