Adobe InDesign/InDesign Pc to Mac

Question
I  recently purchased a MacBook with OS X version 10.5.4.  It has a 2. 4 GHz
Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 2GB memory.  My question is the inDesign CS2  I  
purchased and have on my former computer  -  a Dell laptop.     Can I load this
onto my MacBook and use it or is there some way I can convert it to use on my
Mac?

Hi Suzy,

The answer to this is no, but, yes at the same time.
While no you cannot load your InDesign CS2 onto the Mac operating system because it is the pc version of the software, you could set-up your MacBook as a dual-boot machine and load the Windows operating system and Indesign along side the Mac operating system. In that scenario you choose which operating system you want to use and can switch back and forth between Mac and Windows. This can be done using additional software that runs the Windows operating system within the Mac system such as Virtual PC, or by setting up the Mac to boot in either Windows or the Mac operating system.
