Question
QUESTION: I  recently purchased a MacBook with OS X version 10.5.4.  It has a 2. 4 GHz
Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 2GB memory.  My question is the inDesign CS2  I
purchased and have on my former computer  -  a Dell laptop.    Can I load this
onto my MacBook and use it or is there some way I can convert it to use on my
Mac?

ANSWER: nope.

Nope, but you can call Adobe and get a Mac version for the price of shipping (which I think is only $14.00).

QUESTION: I'll be sure to do this. Thanks for the suggestion. Do you know the phone number for Adobe?

ANSWER: you can google adobe and look it up :)

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: FYI - just called Adobe. CS2 is no longer available. I need to purchase a  cross
platform version and write a letter of destruction where I promise to destruct the
Windows version and then set up an order for the new version of CS3 for my Mac
ONLY  version for $199.   Interesting....  Your $14.00  idea was a better bargain,
but doesn't exist.

Answer
I love adobe programs...but god do I hate the company.

I actually did my idea when I had CS2, and paid 14 dollars, so I know you can do it :). But that makes sense if they no longer sell CS2. I was hoping they wouldn't be jerks and try to sell you CS3.

$199 isn't bad...but if you have a friend who's a student, you can get is for $99. Just do that.
