I would like to set the default "Unit of Measurement" to inches for all Users on Windoes XP SP3 systems in a k-12 teasching lab. I realize that the preferences are Profile Specific. Is there a way that I can configure this change for "All Users" rather that correcting the Master Image and reimaging the entire lab for this one requested change.

nope. You will either have to reimage, or go to every machine to fix it. (I think you know this but it's under file, preferences, measurements).

couple of suggestions:
just reimage - that way you can also update everything in one quick move, as I think adobe just came out with updates.

or...

make a lesson for you older kids as to how to switch your preferences. The future adobe users, and I'm sure there are a good amount of them, will need to know how to do this.
