Adobe InDesign/Layout for printing

Question
I have CS3 and I am trying to print to a Canon iRC5185 with a PostScript print driver.  I am not able to get the page layout setup correctly in InDesign to allow it to print in booklet mode and saddle stitch for me.  InDesign is "fighting" with the Canon driver for the page impositioning.  I have an 8 page legal document that I am trying to print two-sided on legal and saddle stitch.  I have the pages two-up on the document on the legal page.
Any thoughts?  Thank you in advance for your help!

Answer
Amy,

InDesign's imposition software is subpar at best. I have had limited success with it. You might be better off creating a PDF and try printing out of Acrobat.

Also, if your canon printing software is not working correctly, it might be a driver issue and not InDesign. You might want to go to  canon's webpapge and look for an updated driver.
