Question
We are sorry, but Roy Wilhelm wasn't able to answer your question:

How do I save 14 pt type rotated at an angle in Illusrtator CS2 in a format that
can bring it into a Quark document and not have the type get spindly and fall
apart? It also falls apart when rotated in Quark. Do I make outlines?
THANK YOU!

Answer
Priscilla,

I think you may have asked this question in the wrong section. This is the InDesign section, but you are asking Quark question. I can answer it anyway.

In Quark (espically older versions like 6 and below) you can't trust what you see on screen. You will have to print it out or make a PDF to see if your type is having a problem. Your best bet is to create outlines in illustrator and then save it as an eps. Next just place it in Quark and do what you need to. I should print fine, despite looking poorly on screen.
