Adobe InDesign/Resizing a Booklet from 8.5 x 11 to 5.5 x 8.5

Question
I am trying to resize an entire booklet designed for an 8.5 x 11 page to a smaller 5.5 x 8.5 booklet.  I've tried a few things but results are ugly.  I want to ensure that everything in the document is resized appropriately. (text, graphics, logos, etc.)

I followed a similar question regarding resizing but the fonts did not resize and it broke the design.

Any help would be awesome! Thanks.

Answer
Hi Rob,

Maybe the easiest thing to do is to export the book as a pdf and then place it in a new 5.5 x 8.5 document. You could then resize each page as if it were a graphic.
The type should resize as well but you can always open the pdf in Illustrator and convert the type to outlines.
Hope this helps,
