Question
Hello there. My greatest regards for the Adobe experts

Is there any way to color the background text like it's being selected? I dont know if you understand what i mean... but it's just like you select it, i don't want the whole text box background colored, just the lines.

any help would be appreciated
thanks in advance

Answer
I think I know what you mean,

If you select a text frame with the black arrow you can go to the swatches panel and you will see in the top left corner next to the stroke and fill a tiny little box that says "effects container or effects text". Click on effects text. Now if you choose a color the text will change color, but the background will not.
