Adobe InDesign/indesign cs4 page layout

Question
I have designed a magazine in indesign cs4 and have exported it into pdf format (latest reader installed). I then open the pdf and select view>page display> single page however, I am still presented with a two page layout which were two pages in indesign. When uploading the pdf in flash format instead of two pages, i get four. What is the problem and solution to this problem?

Answer
It sounds like you have the "Spreads" box checked in the pdf setup dialog. It is under the General tab, in the Pages section. Uncheck the box and re-create the pdf. You should now have single pages in your pdf.
