Adobe InDesign/Changing the overall size of Indesign Book

Question
We have a 200+ pgs book that was created in Indesign.  Then the overall size was modified in PDF to make it smaller.
Now we need to make some changes to the original document.  Is there a way to resize the Indesign book file without having to retouch each page - just a overall size reduction?

Answer
Hi Grace,

You can change the document size in the Document Setup. However, you will need to edit each pages content individually to fit within the new size.

A possible quick method to re-size your content would be to group everything on a page and then with the anchor point set to the center in the Control palette and Constrained Proportions for Scaling (chain link) clicked "on", enter the amount you need to reduce the size into the scaling percentage box. That should keep everything in the center of the page and will reduce in proportion.

Thanks,
