Question
Hi., Am getting problem in spot color printing which has the image near by the spot color includes Transparency effect (Drop shadow)? Am using Mac OS X 10.5.7 and Indesign CS3. I have attached the PDF (Problem.png) for Your reference.
Answer Hi Ramesh,
The problem is in flattening the transparency in your document. Try exporting your pages as .eps files and dropping them on your printer as this will flatten the pages before the printer software rips them.
You can also open the pages in Acrobat and go to Tools > Print Production > Transparency Flattening. The Flattener Preview window opens. You can manipulate the settings here to achieve the effect you want.
Hope this helps,
