Adobe InDesign/ID CS4 missing text, empty text boxes

Hi, we have been having this problem as well, however I am not sure the font is corrupt as it doesn't seem to matter what font we choose to replace with, random text boxes become empty no matter what font is being put into them.
We have removed the font completely and replaced with a new clean copy and it still happens. Any ideas? It seems to only of happened sinced updating to InDesign CS4.
