Adobe InDesign/Folder Brochure

Question
I have InDesign CS3. I am looking to create a bi-fold brochure which folds and the left inside sheet would contain a pocket large enough to hold a few letter size (8.5 x 11) inserts. The brochure will be printed inside and out. I am familiar with how to design the folder but wondered if anyone knew how to set up a template for this type of project with a pocket.  Thank you!

Answer
Hi Heather,

Visit our website at:

http://www.bestprintingonline.com/presentation-folder-templates.htm

The templates you are looking for are in the 9 x 12 section. These are designed to hold 8.5 x 11 inserts in a pocket.

You will find a number of configurations in both pdf and eps format.
Just import the template into your Indesign document on it's own layer, lining up the left, right and bottom edges with your document edge.

Then design away. Just be sure to add bleed to anything meeting the trim edges. In these templates the trim edge is magenta and the scores for folding are green.

While you are there have a look around the Help section, you will find useful information in the production of your print jobs. Also check out our Instant Pricing on Presentation Folders or any of your print needs. Custom quoting is also available.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Thanks,

Ken Black
